Paul Haynes writes, I work as an ambo in Bacchus Marsh and this sort of situation is quite common. Often we are out of town taking someone to hospital, which is ok as thats what we do and thats the way it is, but its when they stop us getting back to town or send us miles out of the area for a ridiculous reason that really frustrates us. Often we get non urgent jobs in Melbourne or get sent to Hoppers Crossing or Caroline Springs for Code Twos, leaving Bacchus uncovered. Last month the Bacchus Marsh ambulance was sent to Richmond as the closest available car for a Code One job. And they made it...
