Paul Johnson Of Austin Permaculture Guild June 24 2013 IVAN Paul Johnson, I wish I was in your part of the country of America to give you a hand in that environmental project (I live in California San Francisco), it sounds so very interesting and worth sacrificing any offort to accomplish. But I’m serious Paul, your best bet is to hang out in some local University dedicating themselves to these permaculture studies in relation to sustainable systems environmental ecology. One thing I really like about centers of education, you meet all kinds of people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty and doing the work as well as parking their noses in a text book – which I also find is equally important reading and studying. I bet Paul, if you created (if you havn’t already) get some local two year colleges and university to involve themselves in your interest in sustainable systems environmental ecology (ecomerritt.org), you’d get all kinds of support dude. You’d be exposed to all soughts of professors and aspiring students trying create some sought of matriculations teaching people how to preserve and respect the land that supports their lives. Paul, I really think, due to computer digital culture, the world (meaning the planet Earth) is starting to become one government federation. And Paul, some of those old school government representatives just won’t be able to change, this is what happens to people who grow old, not all old people, just some, they’re set in they’re ways, and the can’t or won’t change – in particular if these old set folk have a great deal of wealth. But on a university campus, well Paul, it’s a heaven of all kinds of people talking about the values of change and new ideas – in an environment of reciprocal education that will become addictive to sincere desires to take good care of your land. We humans really do have to change, if we intend to survive on the planet Earth after abusing so badly the natural environment of the planet Earth. Paul, like I said, I’ve read your desire to somehow change your land/property to some conformation to sustainable systems environmental ecology attitudes, and I wish I could really work with you, but at least I can attempt to give Paul some common sense perspectives on the basis of his conviction and respect for the land. Even though I’m not an American Indian, and am a half breed African American, the land/Earth is a sacred thing, the American Indians where really correct in that thinking, the land is sacred and should be respected. Of course this is just my perspective Paul, I’m sure, and I hope other people have other ideas and share these ideas and perspectives – that how we’re going to save the human race, cause the Earth will just evolve into something else if humans fail to respect the environment that supports their lives. It’s a common sense agenda Paul, just common sense.
