Sent: Friday, March 21, 2014 9:47 AM Subject: FW: Safety Concern Just got this through the neighborhood association: I wanted to share with you recent dangerous events. We have had a couple of incidents of 55-gallon trash cans different parks in the Northeast Heights set ablaze. It is believed that these trash cans had pipe bombs placed in them. Debris from the resulting explosion has been found as far as 200 yards from the trash cans. AFD has advised all of our stations to use extreme caution when dispatched to incidents that fit the description. So far the fires have occurred between 10:00PM and 2:00AM, so there have not been any injuries. Your extra eyes out at the parks is appreciated and invaluable. Please call 911 if you see anything related that is an emergency or call 242-2677 if you come across anything that looks related that is not an emergency. It would also be appreciated if you can let me know of any incidents that you report. Thank You!
