Paul McCartney; somewhat deserved, gets a bum load of flack for how AWFUL parts of his solo career have been. However, while John Lennon was beating women up and being addicted to heroin, Paul had to take control of The Beatles more so than previously. 16 minutes of his unparalleled musical ability are apparent on Abbey Road. Side Two is quite possibly the most beautiful side of popular music, ever. Golden slumbers fill your eyes, Smiles await you when you rise. Sleep little darling do not cry and I will sing a lullaby. So, crank it and listen to the sheer beauty of the Abbey Road medley.
