Paul Metz is the chief of the amazing Ida Volunteer Fire Dept. He took the cold water challenge a bit farther than most and ended up raising over $2,500 to dye his hair pink for a week! They are donating all of this money to my walks and thereby have funded over an entire Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60 miles!!! This group is full of heroes not only for the service they volunteer and provide to our community, but also for their endless support of numerous charities. Each of them have touched my heart and frankly have left me a bit speechless. If you are one of them, thank you. Youll never really know just how much this means to me.
