Paul Weston, Chairman of Liberty GB, is the former Chairmen of the British Freedom Party (one of many groups that splintered from the British National Party). Paul intends to stand for Liberty GB in the EU elections in 2014. With a £5,000 deposit needed in order to stand for such an election and thousands more that must be spent on campaigning material, it is likely that Liberty GB will be dead and buried this time next year should they win under 2.5% of the vote (the % required to get your £5,000 deposit back). With the UK Independence Party comfortably absorbing the lions share of Eurosceptic vote, the defeat and demise of Liberty GB looks almost certain.
