Paul, in his teachings to the church at Ephesus… “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:1-6 The Town Hall meeting held at Harvest Ridge this past Sunday evening was a beautiful snapshot of loving relationships and answering the call to building God’s Kingdom here on earth. While not everyone may have agreed completely with each other on various issues, the sense of love, humility, patience and unity reigned throughout the meeting. It is good when people can come together, discuss issues such as finances and leave feeling heard and loved. Harvest Ridge, we are a blessed congregation! Our commitment to Holy Manners is an example for others inside and outside of faith communities. Thank you to those who committed their time to attending the meeting and their energy to the discussion and decision-making. Keep these important dates in mind: Pictorial Directory Picture Taking If you are newer to Harvest Ridge and would like to be included in our next directory, please have your picture taken after worship at the back of the Gathering Room on Sunday, July 20 or July 27. If you are currently in the directory but would like to update your picture, you may do so. Please also stop by the picture station to verify that we have your current contact information. Love and Care – Kristen and Brian Godsey We have the opportunity to show our love and care by reaching out to Paul and Mavis Griesemer’s daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Brian Godsey, who are working hard to sanitize and disinfect their surroundings, every item in their environment, as Brian receives treatment for a rare disease. As their Church Family, we can come alongside them, not only with prayer support and encouragement, but also by providing some items that are needed in their environment. Paper Towels, sanitizing wipes and disinfecting spray are items used on a daily basis that we can help to supply. A table has been set up in the back of the Gathering Room where you may drop off your donated items. Thank you once again for your support and generosity. Royals Game Outing for the Guys!
