Paul writes, the things I don’t want to do, I do, the things I - TopicsExpress

Paul writes, the things I don’t want to do, I do, the things I want to do, I don’t, Oh wretched man than I am who can save me? He concludes Only Jesus can. Now that’s some strong words from an Apostle. An outright admission of his own weakness. But he takes heart knowing that Jesus will see him through. It seems on this earth with the spirit of satan everywhere, we as Christians are buffeted to an fro, like a vessel on the seas. But take heart, that is why Christ made Himself readily available for us. To ask for forgiveness of sins and to move on from there a righteous person. Just when I think I’m free of my sin nature and I start to climb closer to Jesus, bam, there it is. It’s like climbing up to Christ then getting off the top wrung only to fall to the bottom and start all over again. But my friends, get up, dust your self off, repent, praise The Lord and start climbing the ladder again. Such as life of humans. As we progress with our Lord it gets harder to sin and easier to ask for forgiveness. Relax, He knows our weaknesses, He whispers in our ear, it’s ok, I know your spirit, you are my child and I will never forsake you. Jesus has more faith in us than we do for ourselves.
