Paul wrote to the Thessalonians and addressed the death of loved ones. An error was circulating among them that those who had died before the return of The Lord would not be taken to heaven. Paul corrected the error, 1st Thessalonians 4. But he told them not to sorrow as those who have no hope. Ive been around Christians who would act happy at a believers passing. But Im not there. I weep when someone I love dies. It makes me sad. But Im sad because were separated, not because I worry of their eternal fate. Jesus rose from the dead and ascended back to heaven. The angels said that he would come back. Jesus said he would be with us always. A dead man cant return. A dead man cant be with us (he didnt say in thought, he said with us). Easter is about bridging the gulf between the living & the dead. Jesus said wed live because he lives. Jesus said those who are asleep (dead) hed bring back with him. He said that all who were in the graves would come out of them. Hallelujah! Easter is about living.Easter is about reuniting. Celebrate today. Jesus lives! Be blessed. One more thing, GO TO CHURCH!
