Pause. Imagine a president who, during his first five years: #1: The unemployment rate fell from over 10% to 6.2%. #2: There were more consecutive months of private job growth, 53, than ever before in the history of the country. #3: Extricated us from two of the longest and most expensive wars in our history. #4: The stock market doubled. #5: Federal spending rose, as a percentage, by less each and every year than any time going back to the end of World War II. #6: The worst terrorist in our history was destroyed and forgotten. #7: We did not insert ourselves into dozens of countries who will fight for eternity, either with their neighbors or with one another. #8: Housing prices recovered across the country. #9: His wife advocates kids getting exercise and eating their vegetables. #10: A number of businesses and even industries, including auto manufacturers, their clusters and numerous financial firms, were saved from bankruptcy and are now thriving. Now, pause and imagine that president is white. So, what would you think?
