Paw Protectors Rescue has been asked by The Eastwood Foundation to participate in San Bernardino City Shelter Pardon Week, what this means is San Bernardino City Shelter has agreed to not euthanize any dogs for a week and allow Rescues and Adopters to come adopt and help exit as many dogs as the Rescues and Adopters are able to take to help alleviate the overcrowding and the Euthanasia Rate. The event, which kicks-off February 4th, will feature more than 300 adoptable dogs,cats and other animals.The goal is to find each and every animal a new home by the end of the week. The adoption fee is $55 for dogs and cats, and includes microchip, Bordetella and 5 in 1 vaccinations. Animal Rescues(501c3s) are welcome to pull animals for free as long as they register with the shelter and show proof of EIN number. The Lucy Pet Foundation will provide on-site low cost spay and neutering for any dog or cat adopted from the shelter. Local residents are also encouraged to bring down their pets to take advantage of low cost spaying and neutering.
