Paws for Pudsey BBC Radio Solent is celebrating BBC Children in Need this year with our four legged friends. Katie Martin is hosting “Paws for Pudsey”, a dog walk near Brockenhurst in the New Forest on Sunday 3 November from 11:00. Entry for humans is free but each dog must make a £5 donation to BBC Children in Need. There will be live reports on air on BBC Radio Solent on BBC Children in Need Day, Friday 15 November. There are 2 walk routes – a 1 hour route on hard gravel paths, and a slightly longer 90 minute route on hard gravel paths and some grassy/muddy ones too. As well as BBC Radio Solent staff, listeners and their dogs - we’ll have a dog behaviour expert, vets, Dogs Trust rep, local doggie authors, dog groomers and even Southampton-made dog treats! Plus BBC Children in Need merchandise will be on sale. And all pooches can have a bowl of water once they’ve finished.
