Paws to the Rescue at Marion County Animal Shelter - Mullins SC ***URGENT URGENT URGENT!!!*** ***MAY BE EUTHANIZED AT ANY TIME!!!*** Meet Rupert! Rupert came into the shelter with the numbers you see on him - he was clearly a hunting dog. Not a throw-away, but WAY underweight and totally invested witch ticks. Rupert tested positive for Lyme Disease and is being treated - your new pup will arrive at his new home healthy and happy! He tested NEGATIVE for HW! He will be vaccinated and neutered prior to adoption. Rupert is a SWEETHEART - loves people, and as far as we know good with other dogs. As a hunting dog, cats would probably NOT be a good idea! A home with older children is recommended. GOOD NEWS - if youre not local, free transport is available to most locations. And now some BAD NEWS - THERE IS VERY LITTLE TIME TO SAVE THIS WONDERFUL DOG!!! He may be EUTHANIZED AT ANY TIME - possibly as early as TODAY!
