Pay day again (y) left work early as usual to get caught up on bills & such . Was supposed to meet a friend for Burgers & brews . never did shopping due to had enough grub for now . Grabbed some fruit from Normans Fruit stand on the drive . Was just leaving Normans no less than 15 feet and seen a Twenty on the street. I looked around to see if someone was thrashing through their purse or wallet on the spot . I bent down and picked the green bill up and stood there only for a moment until a group of suits were pointing at me. I crossed the street with the bill in hand and they asked did you also lose a Ten ? I knew it was not theirs . Some thing had me respond with Yes they pointed to the middle of Commercial Dr. and said it is right there in the middle of the street . I thanked them and proceeded to hold my hand up to stop traffic so I could bend over once again for money . I had crossed the street in my last motion and was waiting for someone to take claim . One lady said lucky days do exist I was not sure how to take that statement ... It was not lucky for the person that had lost it only seconds before I had purchased my fruit. I had just gotten paid and was not broke .This is a very busy area . I had now 30 dollars extra to my pay day (y) still felt bad that I actually combed both sides of commercial dr.for some more bills . Am I bad with KARMA ? or was I just LUCKY ? I still feel bad about the pursuit for more . What should I have done different ? Should I give it away or not ? Might make me feel better ... .
