Pay me £153k and I’ll sign for Arsenal According to 25 Hour Sport, Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is demanding a whopping £153,000 per-week before he would agree a deal with North London side Arsenal. Arsene Wenger is in hunt for a new holding midfielder to help lighten the burden on Mikel Arteta and the gunners’ boss is ready to meet to £30m pounds valuation of the player by Spanish giants Real Madrid but the German’s high wage demands can be a major stumbling block. The current English FA Cup winners who are on the verge of signing Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez is reluctant to part with £8m-per-year for Khedira after they submitted an opening bid of £24m which has impressed Real Madrid but no confirmation yet if the offer had been accepted or the club will still hold out for the player’s original value. Sami Khedira is currently at the World Cup with the German national team and will be involved in the final against Argentina at the famous Maracana stadium on Sunday.
