"Paying for the corn I gave the vendor 100 pesos and told him to give me back just 50 pesos. I liked the guy, I thought a moment of generosity would not hurt. The vendor smiled at me and said, "two for 40 pesos, selling you a cob of corn for 25 each would be over pricing, here is your proper change." This shocked me. Being in his shoes, I would think that additional income would help. But this man, this man with one arm, selling corn on our streets, had one thing a lot of people are missing, He had integrity in his work. He got what was needed and nothing more."
