Peace DAnt. Im posting this (via DAnthony Johnson) so that others can also see with their own eyes the level of ignorance and stupidity that Hip Hop (and so-called R&B) has now lowered itself to. If you never ever wanted to believe that there has long been a plot to overthrow Black music, you can surely start believing it now. If our more recent younger generation would spend more time on the internet searching out their Black history instead of being consumed with the daily distractions of gossip, rap beefs and unreal reality TV shows, they would instead stumble upon an education of past civil rights struggles and become more learned about the countless Black heroes who died fighting against the very slave-like conditions that we have returned to and become so comfortable with all over again. Welcome to the all new and improved minstrel show where over-30-year-old men reduce themselves to the level of dont-know-no-better type children. The problem is that we havent taken the time to read/discover articles like the Willie Lynch Letter or either we just dont care. What we see happening with the music actually has so much less to do with music. It has more to do with the destruction of the Black male, his image and keeping families as far apart as they can be. When we finally discover and realize this kind of information is the sooner that Hip Hop and a whole wealth of other things will begin to change. Peace and love to the forefathers of Hip Hop such as Afrika Bambaataa who was a gangleader of the Black Spades in The Bronx in the early 1970s. He influenced a truce between the violent gangs in the borough at that time, recruited them and formed the Zulu Nation and established expression of the motto Peace, Unity, Love and Having Fun. THIS was the original intention of Hip Hop. And THIS is the original reason why we rap, dj, dance and even sing (harmonize) to the beat of Hip Hop. Understand that. Know that. And after you do, then do your best to help carry out the tradition that was set by him and the pioneers of Hip Hop. Hip Hop wasnt born at a record label. WE created Hip Hop. Like T La Rock said Its Yours. Thats right. Its Yours. Take it back.
