(Luke 13: 2-3). Death comes to all. Jesus had heard of some Galileans who Pilate killed in Jerusalem when they were making sacrifices in the temple. The common thinking among some people in those days was that this tragedy was a result of Gods judgment on those victims. Jesus responded by asking: Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the others, because they suffered this way I tell you, no But unless you repent, you too will all perish!. (Luke 13: 2-3). The question that Jesus addressed was the mistaken notion that this tragic event had befallen these people because they were terrible sinners. In essence, Jesus answer was, No, they are nothing worse than you People die You are also sinners and one day will die too... As sin exists in the world, people die. Death will one day happen to everyone. Good people die and bad also. The old and the young die too. Death is the great leveler of all human beings. I recently had a teacher who did not miss the chance to humiliate a student or another. Unfortunately I was not approved direct in their discipline and attended a Saturday for the review he had scored. Along with three other colleagues attended the review, which served more than reject us to review the content. We were terribly humiliated and, to put us down further, he said that the only undergraduate students entering the last five ENEM, the bottom of the barrel. Was visible on the faces of each student humiliation. We feel the worst of the worst, because besides being the bachelor, were those who had no ability to go straight to the discipline of such a teacher. I left the classroom annihilated. I came home with a throbbing head and without any hunger. Lost the will to go out on the weekend and I was in no mood to continue studying. Got to be mad at me for choosing a course so worthless to society. The teachers words pounded in my mind, and bringing me deep distress. But in prayer with the Lord spoke: I can not accept that the words of an evil, an atheist, in fact, put me down. Could not let it overwhelm me by the words of a man who did not believe in God, when I think God that makes me a winner and says he is with me all the time. So I asked the Lord encouragement to continue studying, and asked for more, said he wanted to be adopted, but not with the minimum score required, but on a good note, to show the teacher that I am able to learn, yes. When I came out of the race on Monday did not feel very hopeful, but there was peace within me. The next day, a colleague called giving me the good news: I was approved. And on a high note.
