Peace. Inner peace. External peace. Seeing those birds, so - TopicsExpress

Peace. Inner peace. External peace. Seeing those birds, so many of them, was a divine pleasure for me. There were at least 400 Flamingos sitting about quarter of a kilometer away, nicely standing on their long legs, some even on just one leg. There were birds flying over our head, making those sweet squeaking sounds. There were birds sitting on trees, and some in marshy areas eating tadpoles or insects. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, Nothing external to you has any power over you.” Of course, he said that in a different context. However, here at Bhigwan, in the backwaters, magnificence of what lied in front of me had its influence on me, deep impact, so much so that I was frequently singing, so much so that even after 2/3 days having seen it, I am still dreaming of those birds...! In that moment, I felt totally liberated, and happy beyond description. There were moments when I felt emotional seeing such magnificent birds and in such an abundance. They appeared so peaceful, so beautiful and so unruffled. I felt peace inside. I saw* peace outside. It was a magical moment for me. I would love to share JoyBells quote here... Peace is the number one beautiful ornament you can wear, I really believe that. They say you should always wear a smile, but I dont believe that you should always wear a smile, seriously, youre going to look stupid! But peace, you should always carry peace within you, its the most beautifying thing you could ever have or do. Peace makes your heart beautiful and it makes you look beautiful, too. You want to have perfect physical posture when you stand, sit, and walk, and peace is the perfect posture of the soul, really. Try perfect posture outside as well as inside. Peace creates grace and grace gives peace.” Raajan Patil
