Peace, Many worship ELECTED OFFICIALS and dam near kill themselves for photo opportunities with them. U may want to delete me now. I have been asked quite heavily as to whom I am supporting for the open seat Ms. Bonnie moved on from. I asked an ELECTED OFFICIAL today whats your position on Mike Brown and how that scenario played itself out. The response was evasive and I am interested in what the response will be to Eric Garner. I have a QUESTION though for all of the ELECTED OFFICIALS. U are the VOICE of the people whom elect U, and U are ELECTED to make our ideas, concerns and beliefs public policy. WHY have NO ELECTED OFFICIALS spoken in regards to Mike Brown or Eric Garner? Are U NOT concerned about the people.....Do U NOT have answers for the people.....Do U think this like other things will blow over and we will forget or get over it? In Trenton specifically we just had a major election and as always we did our part.......where are any of the ELECTED OFFICIALS we voted for? Last, as the PEOPLE if U went to a store and received POOR SERVICE and was disrespected, would U keep SUPPORTING that store? Right..... Civil Rights is NOT a term that evolved out of Black Culture, but rather out of American Law. As such, it is a term of limitation.-Alice Walker. Peace!
