Peace Monday, 08 September 2014. Year VII - National Edition THE KEYS OF WISDOM: What You Hear Determines What You Targets . Where Has Your Duty An Adversary . Mike Murdock Word of the Day: The Joy of the Redeemed Strengthen the weary hands, firmem the feeble knees; tell the discouraged heart: Be strong, fear not! Your God will come, will come with vengeance; with divine retribution will come to save them. Then will the eyes of the blind and deaf ears destaparão. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing. Waters break forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a lake; dry land, bubbling fountains. Dens where once there were jackals, grow grass, reed and papyrus. And there will be a wide road, a path which will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; serve only those who are of the Way; fools will not go about. (Isaiah 35.3-8;). 1) - ... Whom we preach (Jesus), admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ. (Colossians 1:28). REFLECTION: Our goal as Christians is not to obey any law, or even follow a few rules to be followers of some discipline. Our goal as Christians is to conform to the character and ministry of Jesus. This is the work of the Spirit within us (2 Cor 3:18) as Paul makes clear here and elsewhere (Gal 4:19), this is his target in working with others. Should not be our job as well as parents, friends and spiritual mentors? 2) - And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son who has the Son has life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John. 5: 11-12). REFLECTION: Whoever receives Christ into his life by faith has eternal life and is saved. We should not trust our faith in religion, human ideas in what we do or what we think, but rather, that it justifies the sinner. Our faith must rest in the grace of God through what Jesus Christ did for us, this is the faith that saves the sinner. Grace is a favor from God came to us without any merit on our part. God did for us what we could never do !!! So trust in the death and resurrection of Christ and not the teachings of men. Trust the testimony of God and not of men. Trust in the work of God and not ours. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The Three Pillars of Rebirth Remember where you fell! Repent and do the things you did at first. Unless you repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2: 5). Before we can talk about revival in the church, every Christian should ask yourself: Am I revived? Am I living in the fire as a committed follower of Jesus Christ? Ask yourself this question now. If your answer is that you are not in a committed follower of Jesus Christ Fire, then youre part of the problem and not part of the solution. Listen to what Jesus said to the church at Ephesus in Revelation: I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. Know you can not tolerate wicked men, that put to the test those who claim to be apostles but are not, and found them false. You have persevered and supported sufferings because of my name, and have not fainted Against you, though, I have this:. you have forsaken your first love Remember where you fell repent and do the things you did at first If you do not repent.!. I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2: 2-5) Jesus gave to the church at Ephesus, the three pillars of rebirth: remembrance, repentance and repetition. Remember where you fell! and then He says, Repent. In other words:-depart of their sins. And finally, repeating: Do the first works. Go back and serve God as you once did. Remember, repent, and repeat. Put the three pillars of revival in practice, because we need to be revived before God. QUOTE OF THE DAY: Not Extinguish his inspiration and his imagination; does not become the slave of your model. Vincent Van Gogh FREE SPACE: BIBLE READING Ezra 6.15-18 DEDICATION: Do not! I insist on paying the right price. Not offer to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing ... (2 Sam 24:24). Gods people had been taken into Babylonian captivity, many years later have the opportunity to return to their land and rebuild the city and the temple that had been destroyed by the invasion of Nebuchadnezzar. When the temple was completed, people make a feast of the dedication of the new temple. Experience the return of exiles and the rebuilding of the temple makes us reflect on our attitude toward God. The people had the most important: your relationship with God. But not content with that. Instead of just receiving help from God, chose to dedicate the new temple to the Lord, acknowledging that it was something that he had given her. If you already have a relationship with God, what and how much you are willing to devote to his work? And were not just talking financially. The text also says that people were organized in groups for the service of God in Jerusalem. When it comes to missionary opportunities, social projects and activities of your church, you engage personally with their skills, abilities, resources, time, influences, etc.? God does not depend on us to do his will in this world. Nor is it to repay God for what he has done for us. This is totally out of our reach. However, it allows us to participate in this great work, using the resources, time, talents and abilities that He gave us. Featured in verse, King David refuses to present (well-meaning) of a subject, which would save you a lot of money in building an altar to God. But David did not worship God at the expense of another person: preferred to invest what was his. Nobody is forced to devote its assets, your strengths and your time to God - but what a great privilege it is to be able to do this! Do not miss this opportunity. God only asks that you do the best you can (Robert Benson). PRAYER OF OUR FATHER: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come; let it be thy will be done on earth as in heaven; our daily bread Give us this day; And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors; and let us not fall into temptation; more deliver us from evil; {For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever, Amen}. SPECIAL MESSAGE: Birth of a new day is born a new hope: (Walter Fonseca) Its like this every day at dawn, along with the first rays of a new sun rises HOPE, an expectation of a day filled with ACHIEVEMENTS. Bathe, change clothes and headed to the street in search of our dreams, living each minute and believing that at the turn of the pointer in any corner we find him standing there waiting for us to surrender his passport and only then can we travel to the town called WIN . He is waiting us, with the assurance that our day has come and he, our FUTURE, now called the present, has hands our invitation to SUCCESS, the achievement of better days. And then, as the saying goes, we are sure that Father of heaven tarda but not failure! That, at sunrise, reborn the hope of a better day for all of us ... WE PRAY: Dear Father, thank you for all the Lord has done for me, for His mercy, His grace and His love. Thank you for eternal life, and for the privilege of being called a child. Thank you Jesus for the life he gave on my behalf by the blood he shed for me, by the example of obedience, kindness and love. Forgive me for relying too much on the things of this world, I put my trust in the Lord, every day. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
