Peace River Update The River ice moved yesterday around 6:30PM. While the water level increased rapidly in a short time period, it was still below the registered Sunday, April 27 levels. The water levels now are the lowest since Saturday. Another flight has been scheduled for today by BC Hydro. We do not anticipate any flooding issues at this time. Mackenzie County’s temporary EOC has discontinued its operations and we are back to our regular routines. Thank you to our dedicated Fire Fighters, RCMP members and municipal employees that made themselves available during these few days and assisted in many ways. Thank you for everyone’s cooperation!
