Mike Murdock Word of the Day: The Coming of the Lord Brothers, do not want you to be ignorant about those who are asleep, that may not grieve as others do who have no hope. If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring upon Jesus and with Him those who have fallen asleep in him. We say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who are asleep. For, given the order, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, the Lord himself will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, to meet the Lord in the air .. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Others comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4.13-18). 1) - I, am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior I preached salvation, realized it and did hear, there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD: I am. God (Isaiah 43: 11-12).. REFLECTION: 1 Peter 2 reminds us that we are here as witnesses to proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. We have seen and experienced Gods work. We are recipients of His blessings. We are the people that anticipates a future release. How can silence us? How can we be bitter, pessimistic or discouraged? The God who emptied the graves and made the body of Jesus our living Lord and exalted. He is able to save us. He is our Savior! 2) - See what love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God., And in fact, we are children of God Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Himself . (1 John 3: 1). REFLECTION: What a privilege to be able to be called the son of God !!! How wonderful to think that God puts us on equal to Christ, who is the firstborn son of God. We are called to be one body with Christ Jesus, and in heaven we will all one family, full of inexplicable love of God. (Joshua 22: 5). Surely the most important moment in my life was the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. One day I simply never forget - that day changed the course of my story. I tried to catch up until that day. I wanted to learn more about God, wanted to have a relationship with Him. Did not feel satisfied. What was happening in my life was that God was changing my person. I wanted to reach others with the Gospel message. I wanted God to use me. When the Israelites entered the promised land, Joshua exhorted to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commandments, clinging to him and serve him with all your heart and with all soul (Joshua 22: 5). And that was exactly what I wanted to do also. As I have repeated below, along with the fact of being a Christian, which gives me more joy in life is to serve the Lord and have God directing my steps. I marvel as the Creator of the universe, the God Almighty, also wants to work in my life and in your life. Its something completely wonderful. It is the greatest privilege that may exist. Conditions are part of everyday life: who raises a loan need to return later; the acquisition of a product can only be made for a fee; one works for a while to receive a salary. They are also applied to relationships: I am your friend ...; I will visit you if you come to my house; will proceed well if you act like that with me, I will respect you if you do it too ... Establish conditions can give the feeling of power and control over the situation. But when it comes to Jesus, never are we that we impose, and yes it. The story you read teaches that when we pray to the Lord for something and can not get anything but a no or wait for an answer, we are not yet prepared to receive a yes. The fact that he could accept what Jesus says shows that I really have faith in God. Even if he does not respond in the manner and at the time I want, I will continue to believe in him as I have always believed and still more, because I know he is sovereign, is one who imposes the conditions and know what is best for my life.
