Peace ....after first friday last night atemps at being cool,,,,where they took the amount of paint i use in a months time to CLEAN UP THE AREA and poured it all over the street...only to have a paid crew come after and power wash it away...a insult to my self being that we have paid for said paint out of our pocket time and time again....seem like a blatant waste of moneys.. combined with a very strange need to control people as far as direction they walk or side of the street they would like to walk on....the only bright side i hope is a artist got paid....the other very disturbing event was the over use of power by the metropolitan police dept along east freemont...IT LOOKED LIKE A INVADING ARMY complete with horses....the amount of tickets issued for simple drinks seemed ridiculous....being that for the last 10yrs it has never been a problem ...but if i was 20yards across the boulevard....under Fremont experience...its not a problem ....then the strangest thing...i watched metro cops tell doorman from local business to turn down there music and close there doors....when the doorman said if i close the door now it will create a fire hazard to where the cop said i dont care you need to close the door its too loud....um there is no noise ordnance in that area on top of it was still very early...i also watched a cop tell a employee (thinking they was a tourist) they couldnt stand infront of the bar they needed to move on or go to jail (that person was behind the designated ropes of that establishment btw) when the person told the officers they worked there the cops walked away all pissed that they couldnt tell him what to do...you ever seen some one all power hungry and pumped up,,get flustered cus they cant find anything to tell any one what to do..yah just like that...recapp overspending on supplys throwing money away...overspending on cops overtime to do there job ...over the line nit picking petty police enforcem issueing tickets for a already over clogged court system...the downtown rangers even....bottem line ...DOWNTOWN IS NO LONGER FUN
