Peace and Our Changeless Eternal Nature Our sisters and brothers’ actions do not define them, their changeless eternal nature does. When we choose to define them as some moment in time instead of by their changeless eternal nature, it is then that we become confused and begin losing our peace of mind. The more we judge, the more confused we become, the less peace we have. Still the ego will try to convince us that we have every right to judge them, but deep down inside, because condemning another is not part of our true nature, it just does not feel right to do so. Then we end up judging them for our loss of peace, but what we are not seeing is that it is because we have substituted our brother eternal self for some moment in time that we feel off balance, lack peace, and are confused. The only way to regain our balance and peace is by seeing our brother as who he in truth is, God’s perfect creation on his way to remembering his true nature. And so today, no matter how hard the ego’s decides to play its blame game, let us remember that the power to regain our peace lies not outside of us, but within us.
