Peace and love to all of the brave souls that stood together in protest of the recent decision to free the killer of yet another unarmed youth...black youth. Protest is always a risky thing to participate in especially in such hypersensitive situations like this. Cant we agree that all life is valuable and deserves to be lived in an environment where one is judged by their deeds and not deemed guilty because of their God given skin. Im sorry that people were hurt, and that people also took advantage although that taking advantage is just another way of saying F order....and unfortunately businesses get caught up in that....small businesses. .and that sucks. ..Id personally have signs everywhere plastered on my place of business that I STAND WITH YOU. ...PLEASE DONT TAKE IT OUT ON US....or something along those lines....well in advance at the inkling of a clue that protest, that could lead to riots and looting were on the way. The fact that people of all walks of life took risks, took a stand....used their positions of influence and authority and also stood with the protesters lets me know one thing.....the age of awareness is among us, people are tired. ...Spirits are restless....it is now a matter of right vs wrong despite the labels that seperate us. Human psychology is a complicated phenomenon. ..but in my soul I believe Love reigns supreme...a love stronger than a mothers love. ..so intense and remarkable that it can heal and empower. A love we are all beginning to tap into. A love that will give us the courage and strength to fight together...stand together. ..and win together.
