Peace be on to you, I am one of the admins on H&K, I have been pondering for a while on how to write this status on my experience with those in Egypt. The Egyptian revolution began on 25 January 2011, shortly after the end I visited Egypt and took a bus to Cairo, we met a brother who seemed so happy, he insisted we come to his house and eat with his family, having eaten he made a request that we spend the day with him, we then prayed in his house, he recited surah Rahman so eloquently, on our departure we went to a local mosque to pray, where we met an elderly man, he requested that we should have Tea in his house, however we had to take a coach back to our host city so we gave our apologies. The father of the man we met dropped us to the station, as he bid farewell tears fell from his eyes, only having spent the day with us. Our bus was delayed so we thought lets walk around, we ending up going to Tahrir SQ where we met some of the revolutionaries who were Doctors, Nurses, Students, who were still there speaking of there Joy, whilst remembering the few who were martyred. They were so welcoming to us. WAllah I love my Egyptian brothers & sisters so much, my heart cries out for them, wondering if those that I met are still alive. "The Muslims are like a body, if one part of the body hurts, rest of the body will also suffer" [Muslim], So I make this request please please attend the Protest 10 Downing street this Sunday 2-5pm, also please do extra Nafl prayer for them. youtube/watch?v=_Oake_H7JdI
