Peace on you all everyone. I grew in a Unitarian Christian family my Father was a convert from a rather secular Turkish family to Christianity. This year I converted to Islam after reading into Islam and finding out that it holds the truth of being Gods words and that it answered all the Questions that Christianity did not have the answer for . The Quran confirms that Jesus was the Messiah: …O Mary! Behold, God gives you good news of a word from Him, who shall become known as the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary...” (Quran 3:45) The Quran also tells us the Jesus is the word of God but that he is not part of the Trinity nor is he God: O People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against God, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, is only a messenger of God and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit from Him; believe therefore in God and His messengers, and say not, ‘Three’. Desist, it is better for you; Indeed God is only one diety; far be it from His glory that He should have a son, To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and God is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.” (Quran 4:171) In the Quran Jesus also intercedes for the Christians who believed he was God: This verse is on the Day of Judgment and God asks Jesus if he told his followers that he was God or that his Mother(Mary) was divine and Jesus says no: And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, Take me and my mother as deities besides God? He will say, Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.(5:116) Later on Jesus tells God you can punish them but if he spares the Christians who believed he was God then he will truly know God is the most merciful If You should punish them - indeed they are Your servants; but if You forgive them - indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.(5:118) God then goes on to say the truthful or in other words those that were sincere in there faith will make it to paradise. Allah will say, This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness. For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, God being pleased with them, and they with Him.
