Peaceful Co-existance has been achieved, at least for today and likely forever for the most part :). Enzo, Piper, and I just ran 3 miles all together. First time for a one person, two dog excursion. We stopped to meet the neighbors who were out doing things like hanging lights or yard work. All commented about how quiet and calm Enzo was behaving. He also did not pull like a sled dog. He still pulled but not nearly as bad. She is slower than him, but they were orderly and generally kept to each side of me. I did not trip and break my face like I feared I would. They did not argue like I feared they might. There was some really great team work out there, except for when a big dog in a yard barked at us. Enzo bolts. Piper Freezes. I end up looking like Stretch Armstrong in the middle of the street. Then both hung out outside in the yard, unsupervised (except through the window), while I made them some scrambled eggs. :) I watched Piper paw at him and he was cool with her touching him. She got down in the doggy play position and barked for him to come play with her. He wasnt in the mood but he wasnt upset by her request to him. So she got some toys instead and brought them up next to him to play nearby. I watched her romp around while he lounged and then brought them in for their eggs.
