Peak Foliage this Weekend in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region The foliage reports for the Lakes Region predict peak foliage for the upcoming Columbus Day weekend, October 10-12, and with many area events planned there are numerous ways to enjoy the spectacular colors of fall. Some favorite options include taking a lake cruise, riding a foliage train, picking apples at a local orchard, hiking on over 4000 miles of trails, and many, many town fairs--the largest or these being the Sandwich Fair.
