Peaks and Dales Volunteering and Advancement is setting up a new group for Derbyshire Dales - the Derbyshire Dales Disability Access Group - DDDAG. This new group will fill the gap between High Peak Access, Amber Valley Access Group and Derby City Access Group, following the demise of Bakewell and Ashbuorne Access Groups in 2008. Members of the new group will receive training and support and will be facilitated by Elaine Hill from the Peaks and Dales Volunteering and Advancement Project. The group will receive Access Audit Advice and Training on all aspects of access for disabled people, the law and regulations, practical and theory to the level which each individuals feels happy to go to. The group is open to people living with disabilities in the Derbyshire Dales, their supporters and allies. The objective of the group is to be able to offer their skills and knowledge to individuals, the community, the local authorities and business. It would be great if you could find time to attend this event and lean more about the work of local access groups. Please book your place with Elaine Hill - contact details below: Email: [email protected] Tel: 07805 878728
