Pearl inside the shell... Entire family of some 20 odd members are gathered for 80th birthday celebration...The Grand gala indeed... 55 years old son and daughter, their sons and daughters and next level kids all moving actively here and there. House full of happiness, colours and flowers all over exhibiting a happy home. Old man enjoys their voice, play and every one of their activities. Few have come from foreign countries too... Old man while enjoying, he also constantly focuses on Tulsi plant. He nutures the plant as though...sorry...as his wife...He caresses it frequently, innocently, remembers the past life. Now her photo garlanded.... Sivayya is an autistic child who is very innocent and respects command of his grand mother. She grows him well. Lalitha is a widow having one child. Suffers in her life typical to a woman. Sivayya questions why she suffers these harassment. Grand mom says if she gets married once again, then she would live happily. Sivayya goes to lalitha and tie holy knot in front of entire village. Lalitha is stunned. Sometime later grand mom passes away leaving Sivayya all alone. Lalitha started appreciating his innocence. Nature forces them making love to each other. Innocent love making by Sivayya and educative love making by lalitha and they get a child.... The movie sippikkul muthu goes on and on. Audience in theatre are watching with rapt attention and dumbstruck. Awesome movie. Kamal and Radhikaa at their best. Once the movie is over, it does not go away from memory. It does not go away for days, months, years...it leaves the same impact even today what it left 28 years before... I dont know why I remembered this all of a sudden. It aches my heart at the beginning, It gives soothing effect in the middle, again it aches, scene after scene with a mix of innocence, happiness, sad moments...Superb movie to watch. Those who lost their spouse will relish their past, those who live together will enjoy, those who are young would appreciate the innocence, those who are kids may not appreciate bcoz of their innocence... Thanks to k vishwanath(?).....for a wonderful Pearl (meaning of sippikkul muthu) Have a fabulous Friday!!!
