Peck retires After service the community for 14 years, nurse practitioner Sandy Peck has announced her retirement, as of Dec. 30. She worked for Primary Care Consultants for two-and-a-half years, and has worked at Community Medical Providers for 12 years. She has 43 years of experience as a nurse, 17 of those as nurse practitioner. “It’s been a pleasure to serve the community,” Peck said. “I’ve enjoyed taking care of my patients over the years ... it’s been a very fulfilling career.” Peck, originally from Witchita, Kansas, is married with two grown children, four stepchildren, and 15 grandchildren. She spends her free time reading and gardening, while she and her husband, Gary, enjoy traveling in their RV.
