Two days before the trip, while playing basketball, I was running to pick up the ball when my left foot landed right at the juncture where the concrete border of the basketball court meets the soil. My left toes hit the soil while my rear foot hit concrete. I sprained my left foot, resulting in an injury of tendons and bones that lasted one hundred days. I became Grand Master Lu with a lame foot. (This was the first premonition.) Although I was limping on one leg.
