Peeping through my window, I saw a mother teaching his young child - TopicsExpress

Peeping through my window, I saw a mother teaching his young child how to walk. The mother stood some few distance away and called the crawling child to arise and take a step. Happily the child arose; he boldly took some few steps and fell. The mother continued to encourage the child even though he arose and fell many times. After times of rising and falling, the child became discouraged; he refused to respond to the mother’s words of encouragement again. He was tired, he was worried, he was hurt, and was discouraged. His actions showed he won’t try it again, and preferred crawling. Oh yes, that was an interesting drama I watched across my window. Later, as I pondered over the scene, the Holy Spirit whispered to me “such is the journey of life”. “The journey of life has many hurdles to jump over, many traps that can bring you down, many mountains to climb and valleys to fall in. However, it is only those who in spite of the hurt, the discouragement, the anxiety, respond to the fathers encouraging words,” Arise, n walk again” who become successful. Figuratively, there are many falls in the journey of life that can make one decide not arise again. Spiritually it can be a fall into the dungeon of sin, physically it can be that your health is deteriorating or your business is collapsing or socially, that your relationship is tearing apart. Whatever the description of the fall, fortunately we have a lovely father who always see us fall and call our name from above to arise and walk again. What is your condition now? Were you a Christian before? Have you fallen into sin? Are you thinking that the father will not forgive you? No, the father is still calling you from above, Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (NIV). Lets take a look at the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-24. “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off to a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. …………When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. Hallelujah, what a lovely father the man was. He forgave all the son did and took him back again. That is how Jesus taught of how his heavenly father behaves toward any one who falls into sin and does not remain in his fallen state but arises and come back to the father. Let us stop contemplating on whether God will forgive us or not; whether He will restore us or not. Like the Prodigal son, believe on God’s word and Arise from the dungeon of sin. God is ready to receive you back as his own. In Gods schedule, there is nothing too late for the living soul. He has his arms open wide to receive you. As you read this script, take that bold step of Faith and rise up into the Glory that is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 “Arise and Shine for thy light is come.” Amen, this is the call from the father to every soul that has fallen, “Arise he calls, shine he commands because there is still hope” God has a divine purpose for every soul here on earth and I admonish you rise up and yield to the call “ARISE and SHINE!!” The farther you are from God, the farther you are in accomplishing your heavenly mission here on Earth. Get close to God! The Prayer Of Salvation You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer: Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Does this prayer express the desire of your heart? If it does, pray this prayer right now, and Christ will come into your life, as He promised. In conclusion, always remember that when you ARISE to the command of God: ”The sun shall no more be your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you; but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light and God your Glory. Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be your everlasting light and the days of your mourning shall be ended”(Isaiah 60:19, 20). Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of this Blessed Assurance! God bless you!!!! (Pls spread the Word!)
