Peer pressure….RHBEEP is leading the pack. The Riverina Highlands Building Energy Efficient Project is a finalist in AIRAH Awards 2014 Award for Excellence: Best HVAC and Refrigeration Retrofit or Upgrade (National Award) The AIRAH Awards of Excellence honour outstanding achievements by individuals and companies in the HVAC&R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) industry. The AIRAH Awards’ judging system is rigorous, independent and, most importantly, it is based upon peer assessment. Award for Excellence – Best HVAC&R Retrofit or Upgrade. This award recognises excellence in the retrofit or upgrade of an HVAC&R system during 2012/2013 and can address the complete delivery of projects. Council is proud to have RHBEEP as a finalist in this non-government award category as it highlights that RHBEEP is clearly a stand out project, in not only local government but private industry. RHBEEP will also be show cased at the AIRAH annual Pre Loved Building Conference at Brisbane in October. Yale Carden from GeoExchange Australia will present “Small council, big vision, bigger savings: The transformation of the Riverina Highlands Building”.
