Peggy Immel workshop announced for Thursday, October 2nd 9-5. Architecturals for the Plein Air Landscape Painter Never again be afraid to include that barn in your painting or to tackle portraying your neighbor’s Victorian house with the turret. This short workshop will shed light on the mysteries of vanishing points, shadows, shingles, fenestration and a whole host of other topics architectural subjects can bring to your painting. We will focus on covering the fundamental skills needed to effectively depict buildings, fences and other manmade features in the landscape. A session in the morning will include demos and some written material on techniques as well as basic information on linear perspective and the use of a visual approach to perspective for painters. During the afternoon, participants will have the opportunity paint one or two pieces with individual attention and critique from the workshop instructor.
