Pendatang Haram-Siapa Barua Negara?; KUALA LUMPUR: Sixty-five Vietnamese women aged between 19 and 30 years old were rescued by the police from a club in Wisma Tong Ah in Jalan Perak here last Friday. Police also arrested a suspect to ascertain the motive behind the victims human trafficking. Dang Wangi OCPD ACP Zainol Samah said a team from the D7 Unit of Kuala Lumpur Police Headquarters raided the club about 11.45pm on Friday, following a public tip off, and found the women. However, police did not disclose details of where exactly in the club the women were found and what they were doing. We rescued the victims and arrested a suspect whom we believe is the person in charge of that premise, said Zainol in a the statement. The case is being investigated under Section 12 Offence in Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling 2007.
