PennDOT crews will close the passing lane of I-80 tomorrow between mile marker 170 to mile marker 164 in Centre County. They will be micro-surfacing work in the eastbound lanes from mile-marker 164 to mile-marker 170, as well as upgrading guide rail. The work will extend the life of the pavement and provide updated guide rail along both directions of the highway. Drivers will encounter lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 45 miles per hour through the work zone. PennDOT expects all work to be finished by mid-October.
