Penny (A3487182) and Scout (A3480009) meeting for the first time. Penny is very strong, and Scout very enthusiastic, so we started by separating early and often. As you can see, both dogs took it all in stride! Despite having very different personalities and interaction styles, both dogs figured out a way to meet somewhere in the middle. Most dogs have the ability to self-moderate if just given the time to do so. Penny eventually got tired of Scouts rowdiness and left. We let her do so. Forced interaction benefits no one. If these two were in a home together, the trick would be finding ways for Scout to entertain herself once Penny was done playing.
