Penrhiw Farm: Back on track now - its Rhiwbina on Friday, Usk on Saturday and Riverside on Sunday. Collections from the farm and deliveries by arrangement. We will have fresh Welsh Black beef, Welsh lamb plus the usual burgers, pies and faggots. Lets hope the markets will be busier this weekend - it has been really quiet for the past few weeks which makes planning very difficult. The crystal ball is letting me down of late !! The trouble is you cant do ½ a body of beef ..... Weve got lots done the past few weeks with the wonderful weather. Made lots of lovely June hay which smells wonderful you walk across the yard. Thats all safely tucked up in the barn. Managed to repair all the bales of silage after the seagulls did their best to vandalise all the wrapped bales. 7 big rolls of wide plastic tape later - the bales are all now stacked near the farm yard where the seagulls are not brave enough to venture. (I think the jackdows helped too ....). Shearing all finished too. Hope to see more of you on the weekend ! Bring / tell your friends !! Celia
