People- if anyone suffers from dry skin, dry feet and corn, this - TopicsExpress

People- if anyone suffers from dry skin, dry feet and corn, this is for you. It isnt vanity, my feet and skin become so dry it becomes uncomfortable. So here is the stuff that worked for me. Never been the kind to endorse products, but there are four, which I need to. They have solved some of my more persistent problems. 1. Body shop Hemp foot protector- Although, I preferred the previous more organic smell of this one, theyve made it more fragrant because people werent buying it because it smelled well,.....like hemp!! But this one has made my feet look slightly decent. I suffer from such dry hand and feet (thanks dad!) that it becomes uncomfortable if I dont moisturise. The hand cream is equally good. thebodyshop.in/Products/Bath--Body-Hands--Feet/HEMP/Hemp-Foot-Protector/pid-3368427.aspx 2. Parachute advanced body lotion, coconut butter (amazon.in/Parachute-Advansed-Lotion-Butter-Smooth/dp/B00GMBZU5G/ref=sr_1_4?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1422050279&sr=1-4) ( amazon.in/Parachute-Advansed-Nourish-Lotion-250ml/dp/B00CBRJ5MO?tag=googinhydr18418-21 ) . - bloody hell! This one sorted me out. I have a skin that almost drinks moisturiser (again, thanks dad!), meaning- it is extremely dry, so much so that Im uncomfortable sometimes. This dryness almost results in spots from the smallest nick or cut or mosquito bite. Skin is also sensitive. But this lotion is a boon. Even though it makes me smell like a cake (some vanilla-chocolate fragrance- UGH!) . Id recommend this for people suffering from extremely dry and rough skin. The alternative would be Parachute advanced body lotion-coconut milk. 3. Now for the most amazing of the lot- Ponds cold cream- Yep, the same googly woogly wush jar. I got burnt by steam from the pressure cooker (dont ask...seriously!), After applying the ointment for the burn, once the area healed with just a little rawness remaining, I switched to ponds(intuition), I slathered it onto the scar/scab, until the day I could wipe out the dead skin with a cotton swab.... No sign of the burn!!!.... nothing. No scar. This happened only because my skin tends to spot more because of dryness, so Ponds helped a lot. 4. Disprin- It helped with the stupid painful corn on my foot. No corn cap did. This was in college, only time Ive ever suffered from it. Someone suggested it, I tried it. It worked. I dissolved 2 tabs in a few drops of water to make a paste. wiped it onto a cotton swab, placed it on top of the corn, taped it up. kept it on for 3-4 days... on the 4rth day, the corn peeled off. with the root. Really good. This stuff may or may not work for you. It did for me. :)
