People always say black people never want to support other black people in business, theyd rather give their money to wal-mart, target, all these huge white corporations This simply isnt true! Ive noticed most black people WILL shop with black people when you give them a good price! Problem is from my experience, most black-owned businesses CHARGE LIKE HELL!!! That gallon of milk in wal-mart? 2.88! in the black owned store? 4.88! That 2 dollars could get me a drink and a bag of chips at wal-mart. So no the problem isnt being black, its being EXPENSIVE. and if Im wrong (Id love to be wrong on this one) show me a black-owned and operated business without low prices that is extremely successful. Or one with low prices that just cant stay in business?
