People are always asking me why I am investing so much time and money into volleyball. I have spent 4 hours every Sunday hosting open gyms, countless hours attending games, studying video online, and more money than I want to admit to my wife. Let me tell you why I do it. It is for moments like tonight when I get a txt from a young woman thanking me from the bottom of her heart for making a difference in her life and affecting her in a very positive way. A single moment like that makes every hour and dollar seem like a cheap bargain. And that is just one example of how being involved in a young persons life is the most fulfilling thing a person can do. This post isnt some type of pat on my own back or a humble brag. Im not fishing for compliments. My heart is just so full right now I have to let it out.
