People are always saying something is better than sliced bread...Well, what about the bread slicer?...Ya know, the thing that does the work?...Or, what about poor old Otto Frederick Rohwedder...He invented the damn thing in 1927...Poor guy doesnt even have a sandwich named after him... Same goes for Charles Strite...That dude invented the first automatic pop-up toaster in 1919, a full 8 years before Otto could mass produce projectiles for it... Two men who solved a bread problem each, and yet the bread still gets all the credit...And nowhere, that I know of, honors either of these two guys with a sandwich...Sliced, toasted or otherwise... OK...Time for the Walking Dead
