People are asking both publicly and private messaging what my rates for beach lessons are so I will answer here for all to see. There are people that give rides on the beach for $65/hr but no lessons. I charge $45/hr but a two hr. Min. and here is why. Take yesterday for example. We headed out at 10am, got the horses, trailered to the beach, rode for over 3 hrs and by the time I got home it was 7:30, 8 oclock. So I charged for 2 hrs but spent over 9 plus the fuel to get their and back...pretty cheap to ride some of the nicest, smoothest, well mannered gaited horses! Tips are appreciated and I wont say no to food and good company either. For me this is not a job...its a way of life that I enjoy and I pretty much become friends with everyone I meet!
