People are asking me questions about the Talib Kweli Ferguson Fund .... For the record all we were attempting to do is raise money to eventually apply towards peoples legal fees and any legal situations in general. no one is hording or attempting to steal money the indie GoGo information is very public and transparent. I removed myself from the situation because uneducated people decided to follow the lead white liberal groups instead of actually hitting me up directly and asking what was going on. Talib is working on the situation currently with Rev Seakou and a few other people. The goal is to give money to certain groups on the ground doing work and also put money towards the bail of certain high profile protesters to get them out of jail. From here forth ask the same people that accused me of stealing money to raise money once the current bail fund is dried up. Also if your from the community you see me often enough to know that I am clearly not here to do anything scandalous .. I have removed myself from the process of delegating and raising money .. I gave Talib and Seakou suggestions about who needs help in Ferguson .. Via Josh and other youth groups that have nothing to do with my organization ... Talib is a stand up guy and simply wanted to help raise legal funds .. Same ppl throwing stones have not raised or given anyone a single dollar .. I dont want anything further to do with this because ppl just jump to conclusions but dont even come to meetings where we discuss such things openly with the entire community like I said earlier this week theres zero accountability involved when people smear the names of certain individuals publicly. I made this status because I have nothing to hide and Im tired of letting this situation stress me out on the daily .... Peace!
