People are coming together, An Hour For Others is working and we havent even started yet! In the last week an unbelievable donation started an AHFO shopping spree to buy essentials for kids living in severe poverty. Businesses have sent staff to us to help a clean up of a community centre in their spare time. Dulux paints donated 100litres of paint to our project. Awesome Liverpool provided much needed funding to purchase materials and Santa suit. We have met age concern to see if we can get a handrail put up outside a centre to keep elderly users safe. Men, women and children have been giving time to help us get Caradoc kids centre painted in time for the Christmas party. A choir gave time to perform for hundreds of kids at WECC even though they have a busy schedule. Roll on 2015, theres no city like Liverpool when it comes to pulling together. Spread the word, lets all get involved, businesses, families, we can all help those who suffer in our streets.
