People are constantly blindsided by what life has to offer, we are too comfortable in our comfort zone, so much so that we neglect anything that has to do with basic survival, need Heat? Turn up a thermostat, up all night, no problem, we have Internet, I got food water all available to us, and everything else is in driving distance, damn, that is modern living, but what happens in an emergency, are you Prepared? If you lose power, do you have an Alternative? What about water, do you have a steady supply once the power runs Out? Most likely no, because we dont have to worry about that Right? But us, we live in Canada, one of the most beautiful countrys in the world, also one of the coldest places on earth. Just for that fact alone, we should be prepared, every winter we hear on the news about massive power outages, yet we think, not here, even water, and even if it crosses your mind, your thinking, they will fix it anyways, but that depends on the damage to our power grid, which is kind of old if you think about it, or at least we know that it can be damaged. This fact alone should help us be prepared for the elements. Do you have the proper gear when you leave your House? Because we all know shit can happen anytime, what if you hit the ditch, do you have the nessesary Tools? Like booster cables, a shovel, are you properly Dressed? If you have to leave, or sit in your vehicle, do you have Candles? I mean, it is what it is. Here instead of buying useful items, we buy shit we do not need, useless stuff that couldnt save your ass in any situation. But the fact of the matter is, it happens out here, be prepared, have extra food, or nutritious snacks available, get a generator if you can, buy portable heaters for said generators, have flashlights, have a storage of drinking water, have plenty of candles, dress accordingly, have a portable stove, or a camping bar bq, get torches, be prepared, Always look at the big picture, shit, be prepared for a zombie apocalypse, than you will never have to worry about nothing. My love and respect. This is not a negative comment, I just worry about my family, and I am sure you do as well.
