People are not fool. If you ask a baby what verdict is coming out against Tareq Rahman, I think it will be able to forcast the verdict. May be it will fail to comment on the number of the years of imprisonment but it will say verdict is an imprisonment. Who doesnt know about what is going on in the judiciary of Bangladesh? But why are we going back rather than getting forward? Did we forget everything? Once Sk Mujibur Raman was expelled from the university of Dhaka for committing crime. But that was an intentional expulsion what couldnt resist the forwad going of him. Not so far ago, what happened in Pakistan is known to all. General Parvez Mosarraf made the situation so the then Prime Ministers aircraft couldnt land in Pakistan after getting back from a state visit abroad. Both two former prime ministers, Nawaz Sharif and Benozeer Vutto were in exile years after years. But the time of this type didnt last long. Though Benozeer was assassinated by a terroristic events, her party got in power and her husband became the president of Pakistan by dint of her popularity. What about Newaz Sharif who had to go back to Southi Arabia without landing in his own country as the prime minister of the government? He is now the prime ministet of Pakistan again. But where is that very Parvez Mosharraf now? Why are we busy with the examples of Pakistan? Certainly our memory is not so dull as to forget what happened to the fate of Saddam Hossain. Mohammar Gaddafi of Libia as if is still live in my eyes. Hosni Mobarak of Egypt is counting his last days of life in prison is known to all all around the world. I dont need to travel the world for collecting the examples of the rulers who never thought of what might happen to them later. Who is still bigger as a leader than Sk Mujibur Rahman in Banglafesh? If he had not formed the Bakshal system, what happened to him might have been different one. What did not Hossain Mohammad Ershad do during his time of nine years? What happened to him is still in our memory as if it happened just yesterday. The examples I presented above are enough to mean what I want to say. They did everything possible to,both physically and mentally, destroy Tareq Rahman . Everything- Media,money, blue print, dudak, judiciary, foreign support- what they didnt apply? But what is the reality? People are no more fool. You can make some people become fool for some days, but cannot make everyone become fool every day. He is the Senior Vice President of his party. His party is the largest of all just at these days. Million of activists of his party are counting the days of his back to home. If any election can free and fairly be held, more than 250 seats are waiting for their parties to be won. How can you deny this truth? People are with his party. It means people are not with you. It is not possible to sustain only depending on any neighbouring country. It is not a matter of joke to stop 160 million of people from enjoing their democratic right. You cannot give them food, health, job and so on. The only thing that they achieved instead of their blood, you cannot take thst away. And it is nothing but their democratic right. They wont take it easy if you dont stop yourself. History says whoever tried to deprive them this way did not reach a good destiny. Hisyory moreover says, people stood beside him whoever became victim of any autocratic ruler. So, just remember whatever the verdict comes out against this Tareq Raman, it doesnt matter for him. The next couple of decades is awaiting him. You would rather find the way how you can exit from. Just mind it that we the people are not fool.
